Dear lovely community of ESN ELTE & ESN LUPS!
We’re thrilled to invite you to one of the biggest traditions of every semester — the International Dinner!
A night where flavours, music, and cultures meet under one roof.
In previous years we tasted everything from Mexican sweets to Lithuanian beetroot soup, Japanese sushi, Turkish delights, homemade French toast…and even a bit of Chacha and Kofola! Now it’s your turn to show us what your culture tastes like. ✨
️ How to Participate
You can take part in two ways:
1️⃣ Bring food or drinks from your culture
Homemade or store-bought — both are fine!
Please bring a shareable portion, big enough for many people to try.
You may also bring cultural drinks, including alcoholic ones (but the focus is tasting, not drinking!).
Please attach a short allergen/ingredient list so everyone can enjoy safely.
Bringing your own fork, knife and recup/mug is highly encouraged to reduce waste!
2️⃣ If you don’t bring anything, you can join by paying a participation fee (amount 2000 HUF), which allows you to taste all the food and drinks brought by others.
Cultural Dance Workshop
At the end of the evening, we’ll move the tables aside and learn some traditional steps together!
Expect fun, energetic dances from Serbia, Greece, the Balkans, and more.
No experience needed — just enthusiasm!
Optional Performances
Got a song, a dance, or a short act from your culture?
You can sign up to perform and show your heritage on stage!
(We’ll collect performers during the event check-in.)
Cleanup Together
To keep our event sustainable and respectful, we kindly ask everyone to help us clean up a bit at the end.
