You might have heard about it; tomorrow (23rd of October) will be one of our most important national holidays - the commemoration of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. It's quite a special occasion, since it's the 60th anniversary!
Most museums can be visited for FREE tomorrow, the Terror Háza Múzeum is especially connected to the events of 1956. Lots of programs are held all over Budapest (e.g. next to the Parliament) , so keep your eyes open, and delve into the rich (though sometimes dark) historical heritage of Hungary.
