Dear cinema lovers!
 

We are going to re-start a tradition, where we visit an art cinema and watch an iconic movie and then we sit together and talk about the specific movie.

Now as it is Halloween anyway, we'll watch a movie which brings such vibes to the table: Donnie Darko (2001)! As a teaser, we brought you some info about the film:

Donnie Darko (2001) is a mind-bending psychological thriller that mixes mystery, sci-fi, and teenage angst. It follows Donnie, a troubled high school student who begins having strange visions of a giant, menacing rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days.

Set in a quiet American suburb in the late 1980s, the film explores themes of time travel, fate, and mental health — all while capturing the confusion and isolation of adolescence. With its haunting atmosphere and layered storytelling, Donnie Darko became a cult classic that leaves viewers questioning what’s real and what’s imagined.
